Birthday Party

Happy Birthday to me...Yesterday.  Yep, that is right yesterday I turned the big 24.  I kinda feel like that is so young.  I am not even a quarter of a century old yet, and I already have finished college, gotten married, and had a baby.  Wow, I guess I have plenty of time to do a lot more in life.
So what did I do for my birthday you ask?  Well it was pretty low key.  Tom did have a couple fun surprises for me though.  He got our wedding announcement framed for me (I have been wanting to do that since we got married).  He also had one of our friends do a  make over for me.  It was supper fun.  She is actually a professional makeup artist, so I looked awesome when she was finished, thanks Nicole!  Then Tom took me to this cute little Italian place.
The only sad part is that I never got to have a birthday cake.  I think that I am going to make a Birthday cake for my self on Sunday.  If any of you would like to come over and help me eat it, please do.  Seriously, lets have a party Sunday night.  Lets say 6:30.  Let me know if you are going to come over and have cake and icecream for my HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Midnight Party

It is the end of the quarter, Tom's finals are next week, and like every student family, money is tight.  Tom ended up staying at school late last night to study, after that he went and sold his plasma for some extra cash.  It was almost 10:00 before he got home, and Owen was asleep.
Owen ended up waking up around 11:00 and realized that Daddy was home, so of course he decided it was play time and not sleep time.  He and Tom were up till probably 11:30, just laughing and squealing.  Luckily I caught some of their fun on our camera.  Check it out!

Having a Ball!

Owen has discovered his hands!  He is constantly chewing on them and trying to figure what else they can do.  Along with the discovery of his hands, he has found a new favorite toy.  We have this fun little ball, that looks like a bunch of carbon helixes put together.  He Loves It!  He is always trying pick it up and put it in his mouth.  It is so funny to watch him try and get his little mouth around this ball that is as big as his head.

Back in Action!

So I am finally back.  Sorry to all those who have faithfully checked my blogged daily for up dates.  We have not had internet since our move, until today.  It is so nice to be connected again.  Funny how just a couple of years ago no one had the internet, or blogs, or cell phones, and now we feel like our world is out way of wack when we have to go a couple of days with out them.

So here are a couple of things that have happened sin
ce we moved:

1. I started my job.  It was a bit hectic at first, but I think I have go the swing of things.  It is super nice to be able to work from home and stay home with Owen.

2. Tom tried out for the Minor Leages.  Ha ha.  Just kidding, this is a picture of him at the Elder's Quorum Party.

3. Owen discovered how much he loves his Johny-Jump-Up!
4. We went to Mutlnomah Falls.  It is Pretty.

5. Ammon Owen met his cousin Van Owen.  I think they are going to be good friends, After all they have the same name!

Diving for Boxes

Tom and I and working like mad to be ready to move tomorrow.  Last night we realized we needed a lot more boxes, so we went out for a BOX Hunt, and by hunt I mean adventure, and by adventure I mean DUMPSTER DIVING!

We found the best place for boxes.  The LIQUOR STORE!  It was like
the fountain of gold for moving boxes.  They had a ton of them,
and most of them are the perfect size for food  storage.   The boxes just happen to be covered in alcohol labels.  I just hope that our ward doesn't think that we are crazy when they come to help, and see what kind of boxes we have.

Softball Softies

So any one how knows me, knows that I am a huge NCAA fan.  I was lucky enough to be Utah State's NCAA rep a couple of years ago.  This is a super cool story about an NCAA Softball game that took place in Washington.  Check it out.
