Reflections of the Year

So I have seen a couple of Tributes to 2008 on other people's blogs, and I decided to do it too:

January
Mostly, We waited for me to pop.

February
After 2 weeks of daily contractions, 1 1/2 of contractionless Labor, and 3 days late, Ammon Owen Fullmer was born on February 20.

March
What a big month.  I got laid off from my job, which allowed me to stay home with my new little man.  And we went home to Utah to bless Owen.
Oh yeah, that is when I started this blog.

April
This picture was taken the day I started feeling super sick .  Two days later, we were in Preston Idaho, and found out I had an Appendicitis.  Not fun.  I ended up having an Appendectomy and had to stay in the hospital for three days.

May
May was busy.  It started out with me having the opportunity to escort one of my best friends through the Temple.  Congrats Linds.  I celebrated my first Mother's Day.  We moved in 2 days, and started managing GlenFair Apartments.

June
I turned 24, and Tom celebrated his very first Fathers Day!

July
July was the month of Parties.  I think we had 8 in all.  First one was to celebrate that Tom's mom and step dad were sealed in the Logan Temple on July 1st.  After that, there were family parties, birthday parties, 4 of July parties, 24 of July parties, ext.  You get it, Lots of parties.

August
Two Years of Marriage!!! GO US!!!  My Family also came up to Oregon to visit.  This is a picture of me and my brother Cuyler at Timberline Lodge.

September
To celebrate his 30th birthday Tom decided that we should go on a long hike up to Punch bowl falls, and he should climb up a 60 ft cliff and jump into the water below.  That is exactly what happened.

October
Tom started his eighth quarter of Chiropractic School.

November
Tom's parents came out to visit us for a while.

December
We have now officially lived in Portland for 2 entire years.  Wow, it really does not seam that long.  Crazy we only have one year to go.

4 Christmas's

Well, se are now back in Portland, safe and sound.  Utah was great.  It was nice to visit, and it is nice to be back home, and even nicer still that the Holidays are over.  But really Christmas was great.  what was especially unique for us this year is that we got to celebrate it FOUR times.
Tom's family always does their Christmas on the December 23.  This is the day we get together, go sledding, make cookies, read Luke 2, and open presents.  This year we even threw a baby blessing into the mix.

We spent Christmas day at my parents.  It was fun to be there, but it was pretty low key, because only 2 out of 7 sibling were there.  Wow it was quite. My family did Christmas, after Christmas. My mom decided that she really missed having tons of kids around on Christmas morning, and decided to have a 24 hour party.  Yes, that is right, the night of the 26th, the majority of my siblings showed up to my parents, for 24 hours of Christmas partying. I think my mom envisioned us all staying up to all hours of the night partying, but I think we may have made it to 10:30. The next day, the rest of my sibling (and their families) showed up, and we had our Festivities.

Because we suddenly flew to Utah, we had to leave ALL of our Christmas in Portland.  So we got celebrate Christmas for the forth time when we got home.  It was sounds like a lot, but actually it ended up being a lot of fun being able to relive the Christmas Spirit so many times in one Season.  It was nice to have so many reasons to reflect on the reason for the Season, and celebrate the birth of our Savior.
