We finally got around to transporting
Owen was so fascinated by these green stringy thing that I was putting in the dirt, that he just had to get a better look at them. I soon as I would plant them, he would pull them up, and start pulling their leaves off. And the few that I managed to keep him from uprooting when they were first planted, he has since plucked. Ohhh Goodness. What will I do with this boy?
Here is what my starts looked like before we planted them:
This is what the garden's looked like right after we planted. You have to look close, but you can actually see sprouts in the boxes.
A few short days later, here is what the gardens look like after Owen got to them:
So what started out as my great dream to have a garden this year, has been temporarily been delayed. I think that I am just going to have to try and plant seed directly in the dirt, and see if they grow. Maybe the Boy wont pull them up if they gradually appear.
At least my tomato and herbs have survived so far:
